That was a great movie. Justice League The Flashpoint Paradox.
Comic series was Even Better.

Movie has to shoot for about 2 hours; the rest ends up on the cutting room floor, if it was produced at all. Comic version can be as many issues, or graphic novel pages, as they feel the story needs... and as falls within their production costs.
