I'm just being nit-picky. Technically when the subject is a person, you should use hanged (unless talking about being hung drawn and quartered.) Though as both express the same idea equally understandably; there is no real reason, other than tradition, to use them like that. I'm just old fashioned with mah gramma dawg.
- He hanged for his crimes.
- She hung wet clothes outside.
