don't forget the eyeball near the dynamite and a K2 near the top of the door. There should be six objects in the picture but I can't find them.

Look at the bottom right side of the table, cute little alien

There's an eyeball in the fruit bowl painting.
...Also, though I'm not sure this is intentional, rather than the (one-snake) staff of Asclepius (Greek god of Medicine), we have the (two-snake) staff of Hermes, which he used to carry when TAKING THE SOULS OF THE DEAD DOWN TO HELL!!! If you see that on the wall of any doctor or hospital... find a better doctor or hospital!

Caduceus is a medical symbol google it
RedRaven RedRaven08.08.201900:36responselink 0.0
uh... maybe YOU should google it? O_o

Here, I'll save you the monstrous effort:

"The caduceus is the traditional symbol of Hermes and features two snakes winding around an often winged staff. It is often mistakenly used as a symbol of medicine instead of the Rod of Asclepius, especially in the United States."

Correct because its so widely used and recognized as a medical symbol that's what it has become.

You're like the people who keep trying to say swastika was originally a symbol a peace and that's what it will always represent.

Images are defined by the uses and the people not what original intentions
RedRaven RedRaven08.08.201923:35responselink 0.0
-One country does not qualify as "widely used", particularly if it's a symbol borrowed from a different culture.
-Even moreso if it is clear the intention was to use a different symbol, that means exactly what they thought this one does.
-Moreso still if a great many places ARE using the correct symbol, currently.
-If you consider the meaning of the two symbols, it's really more comparable to if some US hospitals/doctors are the ones trying to pass of a swastika as a more innocent-meaning symbol.

Still, I suppose we're not going to agree on this, so let's drop it. (I think we're making alcortje & Roachclip sad. :P )

I am actually quite impressed with the intellectual discussion. It beats the conversations people have at work here.

I rather enjoy a good intellectual debate myself (and the ones where I end up learning something new are my favourite) although too often they end with someone taking things personally and falling back on the ol' ad-hominem fallacy... whereupon I lose interest. >.>
