Took me a long time. First I thought words were left out, as in, thick-skinned or thin-skinned. Nope.
1. Skinned, in the hunting sense; to skin an animal, meaning to remove its skin.
2. Skinned, as in possessing skin, like saying a tanned person is someone with a tan.
