Mogollon Monsteij The Mogollon Monster is a legendary creature that has been discussed in accounts from central and eastern Arizona along the Mogollon Rim. It is most often described as a Bigfoot or ape-like creature, but descriptions vary. Canyon Diablo Canyon Diablo, Arizona has had more men supposedly killed in Canyon Diablo in one year than in Dodge City, Abilene, and Tombstone combined. It is said that you can’t walk a block without walking on a crime scene. About 12 miles out of canyon diablo, a meteorite hit in the 1950’s. Window rock In northeastern Arizona, a sacred site, Window Rock marks the capital of the Navajo Nation. Legend says the astonishing formation was created by the wind as the world was coming into existence. Corral The Gunfight at the O.K. Corral was a gunfight that took place on October 26,1881 in Tombstone, Arizona. The gunfight did not actually take place at the O.K. Corral but in a vacant lot next to Camillus Fly’s photography studio, six doors down Fremont Street from the rear entrance to the O.K. Corral. Although only three men were killed during the gunfight, it is generally regarded as the most famous gunfight in the history of the Old West. The beast had the body of a serpent, immense wings, two clawed feet and the face of an alligator. The men got as close as their skittish horses would allow and then chased the bird on foot.
