Apollo 16 ultraviolet Sequencesandbox

This gif movie is from a sequence of phographs taken of the Earth from the Moon at various intervals over a period of half an hour, by Apollo 16 commander John Young on April 21st 1972. The instrument used was the 'Far-Ultraviolet camera / Spectroscope' that was designed to study stars in Ultraviolet wavelengths. The photographs were not generally available unlike other NASA photographs with the exception of two different resolutions of the same photograph AS16-123-19657.
Some of the unpublished pictures have recently been decoded and published on the net ( http://www3.telus.net/summa/faruv/ )by the herculean and dedicated work of Thomas Bohn. (Much respect to you Thomas)
Because of the rotation of the moon. From the Moon the stars appear to be revolving past a stationary Earth. But what are the two star like objects just to the left of the Earth moving in formation with the Earth against
This gif sequence reveals two star like objects (just to the left of the Earth) that have the same or similar motion as the earth. Maybe this is why the files have remained buried by NASA for so long.
