I dunno exactly what they eat in China... but I should probably want to grow old there.
Actually there's one thing I do know.
In the west, your doctor gets paid when you're ill, and paid proportionately to what treatments he gives you (not how well it works).
Just as an example, my mother had 32 cavities. Her dentist told her about 2 of them, treated them. then had her come back to take care of "new" cavities he'd "discovered". He sent her off to other dentists and orthodontists for expensive surgeries, the necessity of which was questionable, but which certainly not have been needed if the detected cavities had been treated immediately instead of being allowed to fester for the sake of this dentist's ongoing profiteering. She has a new dentist now, and a pending lawsuit against the old one.
