Not necessarily. The train most likely wasn’t going full speed. They’re not allowed to do an emergency break until contact happens, but they can slow a bit, as much as They can do safely without derailing. He certainly will have some broken bones, shoulder for sure.
Really, what I want to ask about the most, is the person filming this on their smart phone. Didn’t feel any inclination to yell at him, wave at him, catch his attention somehow? Just gonna keep holding that phone steady huh?
