yeah, damn it! :D I've bought Thief pack in steam when it was 70% off the price on it. But what bothers me, that they are selling these games as it is. Games even don't support a widescreen? Is it so hard to include a patch in a game? A guess not. Bu because of this, you need to go to the forum, find a topic about widescreen (thanks God these topic are always on top), download patches from the unknown sites and install them. And Thief 3, you know what? :D I have a laptop with 2 graphic cards. So after installing a widescreen patch, the game doesn't allow you to use your second card :DD Only the weak one :D

Oh, the usual story of Greed then. You can use Steam to download digital copies of games, am I right? That's the impression I have in my mind, and that's why it never appealed to me. 
I prefer to just buy games retail. There's a certain security in having a hard physical copy of your game in your hand. A Hard disc failure won't mean a re-download then. 
What I do is, I download a new game by usual channels: torrents. Play it, and if I enjoyed it, I buy a proper copy of the game. And then, I'll take a backup of that game on my Hard disc as well. :-) 
That's way, I'll get the good game, pay the creators for it, and still keep a safe backup for it.

Yeah, i got it. But Steam often start some sales and ypu can buy a good game very cheap (as it was with thief, i've spend 2 bucks on it) :D

I got the trilogy from the US myself just recently. It'll play in my current low end system, but I plan to upgrade once I return to the US. After that, I won't be ab;e to play it. :0(

There is no problem with compatibility, but you'll need to download patches.

First thing is thief, other that they're selling some old games (like shadow warrior) for the full price (40 bucks in US i guess) because as it's told by them these games has IMPROVED GRAPHICS. but one guy had bought this improved version of shadow warrior and guess what? it's runnin on the dosbox :DD so they just packed a dosbox and an old version of a game, switched some settings in dosbox and started to sell it for full price
