Actually, I just read up an interview that says that he's not a Doctor because in that form he's just a "warrior". When he transforms into 9 he becomes the Doctor again.
I thought The Doctor could only regenerate his body 12 times for a total of 13 Doctors. Does that mean this one come up is going to be the last Doctor?

I have watched the episode and they say you are the doctor on the day it was impossible to get it right! and he has only been 400 years from him to the new doctor so there for it makes him 9
