Always thought it was weird aspect of the Pokemon world, that everyone's cool with resolving their disputes by poke-battle.
I mean I guess it's a good example to set in what is, at it's core, a cartoon meant for children.
Gonna result in a lot of chunibyo getting punched in the face by less imaginative bullies when they get up to middle school though.
