In some cultures, its tradition to cut and alter the clitoris of girls when they're young to prevent them from enjoying sex, so they won't have a lot of it. Its a fucked up practice that's totally horrible.

Very much so.
It's referred to as "Female Genital Mutilation" (FGM) by those opposed to it, or "Female Circumcision" by those not so opposed to it usually. Googling either of those terms should let you learn more about it.
