The diagram is definitely not the best way to visualize information.
This isn't my fault you can't read graphs, but I don't blame you - I blame your school.
Your are right a little.
As for me for example people could easily use 16 based numerical system, but uses 10 based instead.
But there are some common suggestions for data representation which helps people to understand the data better.
The diagram is definitely not about to provide clear info, it is kind of "I'm an artist, I see that this shitty way".

it's more design than normal diagram.
But if a designer design a house, no matter how it's looks you allways know what are the windows, walls and the door - this is my point, if you know how to read a simple diagram you should know to read all kinds.

Even in house design there is a common sense: nobody expects window on the floor and ladder on the ceiling. Shitty house design which breaks the sense will be rejected.
There's a better way (from the point of understanding) to provide same info.

Well, you aren't a big fan of avant-garde design.
That's because I've never met really good designers. All I've met just think that they are good designers, but actually they are self-opinionated parasites.
How can a country get a nobel prize?
I dont like these World War kind of wordings....

Yeah, this also my point of view. The person has his own ideas, and when the winner take the money the IRS don't spare him/her - the country want part of the money even if the person was worked hard his/her entire time to get the prize and his/her country didn't help him/her with that.
Usually those who receive nobel prizes work on a public job. Also it live/was born in that country.
But I guess it's pretty much just to have something to "sort" the winners. If not it was a graph with only jew/ex nazi scientist.

Noble prize divided into 2 subject: Sceince and Humanities. Actually most of the recent winners work for them selves(except for peace) or for big firms(which only money matter for them). They get the money for their project from the owner or donations.
If government were more helping, people could invented great solutions and be much more creative than before. Not all country is rich or willing pay for that; Most countries want to invest in protections/wars or compete with other countries like space conquer. Most of the people with the right potential to make changes are wasting because of those causes.
The bottom line is if countries were invest more with young minds to make changes - the world could solve a lot of problems with everything.

And? I'm saying that it's not a big deal if you sort people by the country they lives in. Those cries reminds me of feminists crying for things which none gives a fuck about.
That's say one thing you are not sceince/engineering student who have to worry about your future.
Because I do, and when I'll graduate I'll have to to work abroad. My country doesn't admire and support young engineers - every new engineer in my country have to work 5 years and earn a minimum wage until he/she could able the average salary. And if I'll work abroad(in the EU) not only I'll earn double from the average salary in my country, I'll have 5 experience years in companies whuch advance technology, economic and revolutionary than any company in my country. Also I could dare using a new ideas, which any company in my country wouldn't do - they conservative because they copy the USA.

In Italy, if you want to even become an engineer, you have to work for free for 3 years (those who give you the job, aren't obligated from law to pay you). Advocates 2 years, economy students (like me ) from 1 to 3 (depends of the future work). Tell me more about minimum wage.
