RE: Strangers/Social Anxiety.
You think maybe there's be a lot fewer adults with crippling social anxiety these days if we hadn't spent a generation or two indoctrinating children to be terrified of total strangers (when the reality is, the most likely person to hurt, abuse, molest or abduct a child is one of their parents, and a "stranger" is someone whom they could have asked for help?)
