At that depth, what would it need eyes for? We brought the light down with us.
For all our advances, and all our certainty that we've explored every corner of this world by now, there is still some SERIOUSLY weird shit down at the bottom of the oceans, some of which we've STILL clearly not seen every before!
All I can say to that is... thank goodness!
