Yep. Bottom row is exactly how it goes for me, if I ever dare to brave the sun for more than a few minutes without kilograms of sunscreen on.
I'm a Filipina so my skin is already dark but when I go into the sun I go black!! And then I end up looking like a Palimono pony- I'm all patches, nothing matches up, it's awful!!! lol, in summer sometimes it looks like I'm wearing white socks (well, pale tan socks really)
Binibini, you need not to have a tan if you are Filipina. Your skin is beautiful as it is.
I live in Canada, and my ethnicity is a mix of Caucasians from a few different European countries.
If I get enough sun in the summer, Puerto-Ricans come up to me and start speaking Spanish at me.
I virtually never use sunscreen. My lifestyle has become more indoors-oriented the older I get. I figured I don't really burn at all.
Then... someone gave me a few days in the Bahamas as a Birthday present vacation.
I'll say once again; I live in CANADA, where I never burn. The sun's a bit DIFFERENT down near the equator. Feels the same, but is NOT.
I cooked one side of me like a boiled lobster! T_T
