I watched a pretty thorough projection of how that fight would go, actually, including some good math on both their upper power limits. Goku fell well short.

Theeeeen again... the end of that fight was so intense that planet Earth exploded, so probably superman isn't so much worried about losing the fight as the collateral damage.
