This joke kinda difficult, I dont get it...
C&H comics are generally crude in more than just art style. A lot of people have trouble with some of them. I think that means you're a better person. lol
Seppuku is Japanese ritual suicide, performed by making two cuts in a cross shape through the belly (and if you've got the stones to pull that off, a Second, or assistant, will then put you out of your suffering by decapitating you).
If a general of an army in medieval Japan lost a battle, he was expected to atone for his shame of failure by committing seppuku. "Dying with honor" as it were. It was usually part of the formal surrender process. Being captured alive was seen as a disgrace. Seppuku erased the dishonor; your friends and family could then say you died honorably.
So here, in this admittedly tasteless comic, we have a dude who has publically embarrassed himself, and takes his own life in the traditional Japanese manner to erase dishonor. Well... traditional aside from not using a knife, of course. -_-
