Incest is a completely different topic IMO. The main difference is that incest can cause reproduction, and usually the offspring has poor health from pulling genes from the same pool. There's a reason why it is the only thing outlawed the whole world over. There is not one place on earth where incest is legal, or not taboo at least.
Actually, the difference you just listed was essentially covered in this comic as well. With today's technology, things like that would be a non issue. Furthermore, the actual increase in the chance of a child having harmful defects due to related blood banging is only increased by 2% (and that's in regards to direct family whereas cousins are even less of an issue), and would only become an issue after multiple generations of inbreeding. This is what happened with Royalty waaaaay back when it was practiced as a means of preserving royal blood.
If a brother and sister were to bang and have a kid, they have about the same chances (if not the same chances) as a regular non blood related couple in having a baby with health defects. I would say the main reason incest is so looked down upon is due to misinformation and a stigma that has been ingrained into the general thoughts of society for a looooong time. That's not to say you're wrong for feeling weird about the idea of siblings or family banging, but to condemn it is ignorant and foolish (that's more of a general statement and not necessarily directed at you).

Well we can say the same thing about every tabu act ¿right?, something like:
