These are all really well done, and insightful.
Man I loath that pink bitch! Intellectually I know that I am a grown man raised in a country where we called our teachers by first name, and not a British child raised to regard their authority as absolute. They let her walk all over them WAY longer than I would have tolerated!
It bothers me so much I often skip that movie when I re-watch the series. I get too righteously angry to enjoy the film properly. :(
Also on the list of things my head understands even as my heart contemplates murder: To get this strong an emotional reaction out of a jaded old cynic like me, Imelda Staunton (who played Umbridge) is actually a great actress! Like Joffery in GoT; the more you hate them, the better the job the actor/actress did portraying them (though it's sometimes hard to remember that).
