OMG I've been there...why there isn't more of these?
Because airports (not to mention quite a lot of other buildings) are older than mobile tech.
Simple solution, actually.
1. Be polite, make friends.
2. Plug the laptop's charger into the wall outlet.
3. Plug the phone's charger into one of the laptop's USB ports.
4. Sit together.
