I know this is fiction, but to get those marks, this small "quiz" (as it's labeled, and looks to be a single page) would need to have 100 markable points, if not 100 questions.

I don't know where are you from, but most of the world using the percentage system, and this is one of the methods to show it.
Yeees. I am from those parts of the world.
What I'm saying is that, to get a mark of 98/100, a test would have to have a minimum of 50 questions (or long-answer questions worth multiple specific points), and to get a mark of 19/100, a test would have to have a minimum of 100 questions. You following? A short quiz with 5 or 10 questions couldn't get you marks of 98% or 19%.
That seems not to match with the label "Quiz" on the top, or that it appears to be just one or two pages long.

Not every exam have multiple choice questions, in my country almost every exam we have open questions exams so I can get a hald point for a mark 'e.g. 95.5/100, and most of exams we have 4-5 questions so I don't see something wrong.
