That's right, the main character can be customized (even in gender in some class) and there is a female optional charcter on the story line (but i let her die because i can choose only one from her or the male mage, so i think you understand why i choose the male XD)
the game is drakensang river of time, and if i should be honest it lack of playble character at all, just 4 plus customized main, there is also an expansion but it not add any playable character.
