I show to my father a video rewiew of a VR racing game with the hope he dislike it at least how i dislike it, instead it got enthusiastic beside he always hated new technology.
I think until now "old people" hated new stuff because required smashing complicated button and to stay sitten, now they can move like real life and simply punching to punch instead to remember complicated sequence of buttons.
i don't know how to explain it better, is like a chess and a sport, in chess movement are "abstract" (real horse don't move in "L" shape and towers didn't move at all) in any field sport, instead, if you want to reach some place just run step by step.
This is anyway just a mine personal theory.

I also think... a lot of young guys fantasize how they easly survive in a post apocalypse world with cheap life hack, and camping trick, i think every common people are pretty doomned, especialy sedentary youngster, but now, looking this grandpa i undestand this generation don't know difference between zombie or ww2 nazi in healthy or crippled age they are always in first line punching thing and even having fun on doing this.
