are you? That is the debate. The problem western culture (canada) has with this is not that you are covered, but why. And what will happen to you if you decide not to. Yes you have the freedom to cover up, but i hope it's not because you feel you have to or that your body is responsible for evil/rape

You left your country and came to Canada because of all the opportunities you can have in this country. If you want to cover your hair, then go ahead but I don't believe a woman should cover her whole face. Personally I think it's demeaning and women have fought hard to be where they are today. If you wish to remain hidden then unfortunately I don't think you and others like you should have the honour of living in our wonderful country.
One other thing , where do your demands end?
A student in a Montreal university wanted the university gym to have ours where only women are in the gym. Sorry but if you want a only women's gym then you have to go off campus.
