Cheongsam is Cantonese. Qípáo is the Mandarin word for it.
Is it me, or does this look like a fusion of Irish Riverdance and Japanese Parapara? O.o
Not sure this actually would properly be considered a Cheongsam/Qipao anyway, though the collar is of Chinese style.
Oh, and for all my over-analysis of this eclectic dance style, it's still fun to watch!
I think is just a mixture of different style, nowadays there is a great influence from one culture to other, i think this is why my teacher and other people just call every of this dress with a generic cheongsam.
