Though you do raise a fair point: Who monitors the stock in there to ensure the less popular items haven't spoiled? Seems like neglect would be uncomfortably easy to do. It IS a vending machine, after all. If you were going to have a guy whose full-time job was to make sure all the stock was in good condition... well, you'd just give him a vendor stall, wouldn't you?
