Aw man, what a flashback! We totally did this (dressing our dog up in super hero costumes) all the time to the golden retriever we had growing up. Her name was Heidi. I have baby pictures of myself learning to stand by grabbing onto her upper lip! We'd tickle her feet when she was sleeping to make her jump!
It was all done with love, but I think we were having a lot more fun with her than she was with us, yet she never once bit or even nipped at us. A dog with the patience of a saint!
R.I.P. Heidi.
