I've heard they decided "Aunt Jemima", the mascot for the syrup, was not PC enough... so they quietly made the black lady disappear. Similarly the Land O' Lakes butter decided the native woman on their logo was problematic, so they removed the native, just like in real life.

I guess whomever made this video would like to bring Auntie Jemima back... with upgrades!
