he just doesn't understand what micro-transactions (i'll cal it m-t) is, and i am not sure if author of this comic understands it neither. Cause in arcade machines case, it's pay-to-play system: you need to pay money in order to play a game, and there is no special features you can buy for the game. So it's not m-t. or maybe it's me who are fool in this situation :D
In THIS particular case, I think the comic creator meant it to be 'transactions at a minor level'. Not the nature of the content obtained for money.
