IIRC, the chest-beating thing is usually a challenge to fight (Or a warning to GTFO of my territory or there's gonna BE a fight).
Think maybe we should teach kids NOT to taunt the animal 12x stronger than an adult man to find out how strong that glass is? No, instead, we're holding up a smartphone camera to videotape it all.
