Speaking as a dude, I fully support this sort of response, exactly as depicted, in public, the whole nine yards.
The overwhelmingly vast majority of us are not this stupid, but it's the handful that are who get remembered.
(Take drion4 up there, for example; Not a shining example of a gentleman, perhaps... but you'd never have noticed him, you remain unbothered, and so he certainly didn't wreck your day).
I'm wholly in favour of A) immediate correction of this sort of stupidity (it's like training a dog; you have to catch them doing it or they don't learn) and B) handling it yourself like a grownup.
