The Wide World of Parenting Styles...
Helicopter parenting, i've know this eng term first time in simpsons, i know what it mean, but not the sense. on which way helicopter are interrelated with eccesive parenting?
A helicopter parent (also called a cosseting parent or simply a cossetor) is a parent who pays extremely close attention to a child's or children's experiences and problems, particularly at educational institutions. Helicopter parents are so named because, like helicopters, they hover overhead.
a reasonable answer to a reasonable question. so rare on the internet :)
Thnaks for help, i'm not a native eng, but for improving my english knowledge i think is not only important knowing the meaning of a word, but also the background.
