As someone who has gotten a fishhook tuck in a knuckle before, seeing her "accidentally catch her skirt" makes me want to remind people of two things:
Fish hooks are barbed and designed not to be released easily and it hurts like hell to pull them out.
Don't stand up in narrow boats.
